As a member of both the communications and digital teams, you’ll be working directly with us to help frame and shape the reform movement. Intern responsibilities include drafting press releases and social media content, monitoring news, compiling news clips, writing op-eds, and getting a front-row seat to progressive politics and campaigns. Interns will learn directly about how to deal with reporters on and off-the-record and the ins-and-outs of political communications in the digital age.
Interns should be self-starters with an interest in progressive politics and campaigns. We are looking for organized individuals with strong writing skills and the ability to copy-edit and write creatively for a variety of audiences.
Qualified applicants should submit a resume, cover letter, and writing sample to jo...@endcitizensunited.org, subject line “Communications/Digital Internship.” Please indicate in your cover letter where you viewed this posting. This is a paid internship.
