The Petition Coordinator will:
Manage the campaign’s petition gathering program to ensure Delegate Hurst qualifies for the ballot.
In accordance with state and local regulations, canvass and attend necessary events to obtain signatures to ensure Delegate Hurst qualifies for the ballot.
Recruit a team of campaign volunteers and interns.
Manage and develop tools for direct voter contact. This should include mechanisms for relational organizing.
Track and report progress toward volunteer recruitment and petition signatures on a daily and weekly basis.
Coach volunteers and interns on the best practices for organizing voters and other potential volunteers.
Qualified candidates must have:
Minimum of 1 full cycle of a campaign as a Field Organizer or similar role.
Proficiency with Google Sheets, Excel, and Vote Builder.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to balance competing tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.
Willingness to work irregular hours, including some nights and weekends.
