SUMMARY:
Need To Impeach (NTI) is hiring Regional and State Organizing Managers to help engage, mobilize, and recruit Need To Impeach supporters across the country. Each State Manager will be responsible for one target state whereas a Regional Outreach manager will be responsible for multiple states.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build relationships with NTI supporters in your state/region
- Recruit volunteer leaders in-state to build volunteer teams in-state
- Coordinate and host meetings/house parties
- Meet with grasstops leaders (and elected officials in-state) to discuss NTI
- Recruit others to join the NTI list
- Host events to engage in direct voter contact for the election
- Encourage NTI supporters to volunteer for the election in other ways
- Support any trips of NTI’s founder to the state by providing ideas for meetings/events prior to trips and staffing when appropriate
- Where appropriate, coordinate with affiliated staff on events, outreach, etc.
- Coordinate with political staff on constituency outreach
- Coordinate with communications staff on earned media opportunities
- Identify speaking opportunities for NTI's founder and for other affiliated organizations' leaders
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Minimum 2 cycles of electoral campaign experience preferred
- Driven and self-motivated by a strong work ethic
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and manage several tasks simultaneously
