A candidate for one of the most competitive North Carolina House of Representatives races is looking for a talented campaign manager.  The race has been identified as an important Democratic pickup in 2018 and has potential statewide implications.

Responsibilities include:

-        Managing and executing all aspects of the campaign, including fundraising, field program, communications and messaging (including press releases, social media, etc.), outreach, budgeting, and research.

-        Working with vendors, consultants, community stakeholders, and party officials to make the campaign as effective and efficient as possible.

-        Recruiting and supervising campaign volunteers.

-        Drafting and implementing a campaign plan and budget.

-        Scheduling, planning and running fundraising events, candidate visits, meet-and-greets, and other group meetings.

-        Other duties, as required.

Qualifications:

-        Prior campaign experience is required.  Prior campaign management experience is preferred.  Emphasis will be placed on prior success in running a field program, a fundraising program, or both.

-        Applicant should be results-oriented and adaptable in what will at times be a fast-paced campaign environment.

-        Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential.

-        Applicant must have access to a cell phone, a car, and preferably a laptop.

Pay will be competitive and take experience into account.
