The Sierra Club seeks an organizer Iowa to build grassroots to help spur the transition to clean energy. Iowa is already leading on clean energy, but still has some big coal plants that continue to pollute communities. You will work to establish campaigns that get to the heart and guts of the people to transform Iowa towards 100% clean energy.

Your job will be to recruit, engage; training grassroots volunteer leaders and build powerful alliances to achieve our campaign goals in the state. You should be passionate about social justice, clean air and clean energy, have experience engaging and moving people to action, a sense of humor, and love of a good road trip. Location: flexible, within Iowa
