Environmental Justice Organizer and Policy Officer/Advisor

My organization, Namati is looking to bring on two positions to support our US environmental justice program -- see below for more! 

Namati’s US environmental justice program is hiring a seasoned Organizer and Policy Officer/Advisor! Together, they will support local organizing to take on environmental harms, develop a grassroots-driven policy framework for the Chesapeake region, and fight to turn that framework into law. We’re looking for team members who are tenacious, creative, and strategic, with a burning passion for working with communities to advance environmental justice and human rights.

The US EJ program partners with communities and environmental justice advocates from across the Chesapeake region to bring about transformative, bottom-up change. Globally, Namati convenes the Legal Empowerment Network, more than 2,200 groups from 160 countries who are learning from one another and collaborating on common challenges.
