National Outreach Director Position

Reports to Chief Operating Officer

Based in Dublin, CA

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop national outreach and engagement strategy for campaign

• Build and maintain relationships with key local, regional and national grassroots organizations, community leaders and supporters

• Work closely and collaboratively with State Directors and field staff regionally and nationally to supplement the efforts of programs in key states

• Create, recruit, and manage SFA volunteer groups outside of initial target states

• Oversee the HQ based internship program including hiring and management

• Organize outreach activities including canvassing, flyering, phone and text banking as well as outreach events out of the campaign headquarters

• Other work as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage high volume of email correspondence

• Experience using and  working with Google Suite

• Ability to take ownership and have consistent, accurate follow through to completion

• Superb attention to detail

• Experience working with executives and staff who work in different offices and time zones

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Prior experience working on political campaigns and grassroots required

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

This is a full-time exempt, salary position located in Dublin, California close to BART and public transportation.
