The Bredesen For Senate campaign is seeking applicants for a Deputy Field Director. The Deputy Field Director will be responsible for executing the statewide field plan within their assigned region, and for supervising Regional Field Directors and their attendant Field Organizers. The Deputy Field Director will report directly to the Field Director.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Creating and sending detailed daily priorities and goals to RFDs.
· Working with the Field Director and RFDs to track each region’s progress toward meeting and exceeding goals, while helping develop a plan to ensure said goals are met.
· Create foundational documents used for staff training and management, reporting, and day-to-day field activity.
· Pulling daily and weekly reports on regional and office production and progress.
· Managing an aggressive staff recruitment pipeline.
· Attending local political and community meetings as a representative of the campaign.
Qualifications:
· At least two cycles of Field experience in a competitive campaign environment, with at least one cycle as a Regional Field Director or other management position that involved the direct management of salaried staff.
· Extensive VAN experience.
· Skill with spreadsheets.
· Access to a reliable vehicle, and a valid driver’s license as well as access to a reliable computer.
