Community leader and non-profit founder, LaTonsha Pridgen is seeking a campaign manager for her 2019 campaign for Prince William County Coles District Supervisor. LT has dedicated her life to fighting for the voiceless in her community. She has done this primarily through her non-profit Stomp Out the Silence which focuses on identifying and stopping child sexual abuse.
LT is the best candidate to serve this racially and socioeconomically diverse district because as someone who comes from poverty, a survivor of the same types of abuse she now fights, and the holder of two masters degrees, she is the most qualified.
Prince William is a majority-minority county that is trending blue, with Democrats in the Virginia House of Delegates picking up five Prince William County seats in 2017.
The campaign manager will be responsible for overseeing the field, finance, paid communications and digital programs, while also seizing upon opportunities for earned media.
The ideal candidate will have at least one cycle of field and one cycle finance on a Congressional race (or comparable experience). S/he should have both a relentless work ethic and a sense of humor. We take our work seriously, not ourselves.
Start date as soon as possible.
Salary $2500 - $3000 per month.
Women, people of color, members of the LGBTQIA community, and Spanish-speakers are strongly encouraged to apply.
Email resumes to LT at lt4c...@gmail.com. Please include a quick note (3-4 sentences) about why you are interested in this race.
