Finance Director for Oregon Congressional Race

Eugene, OR

THE RACE

Doyle Canning is fighting to be the first woman to represent Oregon's 4th Congressional District. Home of Oregon's two largest public universities, featuring a beautiful coastline and some of the oldest forests in America, this district could be a leader in the Progressive movement and in the fight to combat climate change. This is a primary race against a Democratic incumbent who isn't willing to take the lead for progressive change.

This campaign is not taking any money from corporate PACs or the fossil fuel industry who is fighting to build a pipeline that will destroy the coastline, and cross through the bottom half of the district. We are looking for a Finance Director who is able to take the lead on our fundraising program and help us win in our May Primary and the 2020 General Election!

DESCRIPTION/ DUTIES

The Finance Director is tasked with developing a finance and fundraising plan through the 2020 election.

The Finance Director will develop, implement, and manage call time programs, low and high dollar events, low dollar phone program, donor prospecting and research, and staff candidate call time. The Finance Director will develop and manage the online fundraising, email and direct mail programs. The Finance Director will work with the compliance accountants on reporting.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Candidates must have at least one cycle as a Finance Assistant. Candidates also must have significant experience with Microsoft Excel and NGP. Ideal candidates will have experience in all aspects of campaign finance operations including managing relationships with donors,  call time, building events, mail, digital, finance committee, and budget management.
