Job Description

A Democratic campaign on Long Island including the Nassau County and Suffolk County areas is seeking qualified applicants for its field canvass program. Field representatives will be responsible for direct voter contact through door-to-door canvassing and phone banking. Applicants should live in Long Island area and have a reliable mode of transportation.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to assigned canvassing location on time and ready to work

Engaging directly with voters through door-to-door canvassing and phone banking

Attending regular team meetings

Consistently meeting goals as an individual and team

Performing required reporting tasks in a timely and accurate manner

Preferred Experience/Skills:

1 year of campaign/political experience

Experience interacting with the public

Metric driven and proven ability to meet assigned goals in a given time period

An honest and trustworthy reputation

Familiarity with the electoral process

Outgoing and friendly demeanor

Additional Information:

Make up to $15 an hour or $550 per week

Evening and weekend availability are necessary

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Salary: $15.00 /hour
