Wisconsin Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee (ADCC) - Finance Director
The Wisconsin Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee (ADCC) is a full-time political organization dedicated to building a Democratic Majority in the Wisconsin State Assembly.
The ADCC is looking
for an experienced, full-time Finance Director to run an aggressive fundraising
operation to help regain a Democratic Majority. The Finance Director will work
closely with the Executive Director and legislative leadership team to execute
a 2-year fundraising plan.
Primary Responsibilities
§ Develop and execute a 2-year Budget to expand on the record-breaking successes of the 2016 and 2018 cycles.
§ Develop and execute a multi-faceted finance plan with programs aimed at multiple donor categories (including PACs, high and low dollar individuals, and other institutional givers).
§ Build and manage an online fundraising program to run parallel with other fundraising strategies.
§ Plan, schedule, and manage small- and large-scale fundraising events, ranging from small social gatherings to large events with 100+ attendees.
§ Manage member call time for the ADCC, prepping call sheets and conducting all follow-up donor correspondence, including the thank you program.
§ Assist incumbent members and challenger candidates with developing and executing their own successful fundraising plans.
§ Build on, manage, and improve the existing donor database to identify, research, and recruit new donors.
§ Assist members in building strong relationships with major donors for the ADCC.
§ Recruit, hire, and manage a finance assistant.
§ Oversee compliance and prepare state finance reports for the ADCC and assist incumbents with any campaign finance report questions.
§ Execute drafting of direct mail fundraising programs.
Qualifications
§ Strong commitment to electing Democrats to state government.
§ Minimum one cycle (two preferred) statewide or legislative committee finance director or equivalent experience preferred.
§ Experience in cultivating major gifts ($5,000+) from both individual donors and like-minded organizations preferred.
§ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
§ Experience with NGP or other finance software.
§ Exemplary time management, planning, organizational, and communications skills.
§ Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
§ Must have a car (position will at times require travel around the state).
§ Lives in or willing to relocate to Madison, WI for the duration of the campaign cycle.
§ Work extended hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
