Finance Assistants Needed

[NY Congressional Campaign]

Nationally targeted Congressional race in rural Upstate New York is seeking finance assistants to keep up with our growing fundraising operation.

Responsibilities:
- Work with Finance Director to implement finance plan.

- Staff candidate during call time and manage the call time process.

- Conduct donor research, donor solicitation, and donor follow up.
- Assist volunteers and Finance Director with event prep, execution, and follow up.

- Manage and recruit interns for the campaign.
- Assist Finance Director and other staff as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Strong written, communication, research, & interpersonal skills - Attention to detail
- Must be willing to work long and irregular campaign hours
- Access to car

Preferred but Not Required:
- Previous campaign finance experience
- Familiarity with NGP, VAN, or other database programs

- Upstate New York ties are a plus

- Willing to re-locate to district upon hire
