Position Summary:
Leadership for Educational Equity seeks a Manager to act as a staff liaison and expert on LEE’s personnel policies, compensation, and benefits. Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent, the Manager will maintain accurate personnel data, liaise with employees on all personnel-related questions, lead administrative onboarding and offboarding, and create and maintain systems for storing employee information and data reporting. The Manager will also act as an important liaison with facilities partners to ensure employees have the necessary space and resources to excel in their jobs. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have experience as a human resources generalist and bring a proactive and customer-service oriented approach to their work.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organization, and project management skills. The ideal candidate enjoys and thrives at handling logistical details and creating and improving systems. As a staff and partner liaison, the Manager must have strong written and verbal communication skills and will need to successfully build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including other staff at LEE, Teach For America staff, and other partner organizations. The Manager needs to exercise strong judgment in handling confidential information and troubleshooting problems as well as an orientation toward balancing staff support with increasing organizational impact.
