Clean Water Action. Our long-term Field and Phone Canvass Teams work from offices across the nation to recruit new members, fund-raise for Clean Water Action, spread awareness about critical public health issues, and activate citizens in key political districts. We provide extensive training, professional development, advancement to leadership positions, travel opportunities, and a full benefits package to all long-term employees. You will master strategic communication skills, and gain knowledge about environmental issues, grassroots political organizing, and nonprofit management and fund-raising.

• Work with regional and national policy staff to implement and win political campaigns.
• Supervise a staff of motivated, long-term canvassers.
• Recruit, train, promote, and manage employees in collaboration with the office manager and trainers.
• Oversee the logistics of the office including transportation, scheduling, public relations, budget and expenses, payroll, internal policy.
• Join an established, national network of leadership.

Training and Qualifications We are hiring for positions from entry-level to management, based on level of experience with field or phone canvassing, direct fundraising, and political organizing. All staff receive hands-on training, working intensely alongside experienced leadership. Advancement based on merit.

 

Locations Positions are available immediately in cities nationwide. Currently hiring in MA, RI, PA, MD, CO, CA, TX, MN, and Washington, D.C. Final location will be based on organization priority.
