The Ohio Democratic Party is Hiring a 2018 Coordinated Campaign Field Director

The 2018 Ohio Democratic Coordinated Campaign is seeking an experienced Field Director to lead in the development and execution of a statewide field plan to elect Democrats up and down the ticket through 2018.

 

The Coordinated Field Director will:

 

●     Supervise and Execute a statewide field program   

●     Hire and manage a team of Deputy and Regional Field Directors

●     Supervise hiring and management of Field Organizers

●     Work with Coordinated Campaign Director to address needs of campaigns and coordinated partners

●     Work seamlessly with political and constituency teams to build constituency groups and events

●     Manage relationships with field directors on affiliated campaigns and caucuses

 

Qualifications:

 

●     3+ Years of electoral organizing experience on Democratic or issue campaigns

●     Experience developing and implementing field program including: building an organizing model, setting and enforcing goals, and writing trainings

●     Management-level leadership role during 2+ election cycles

●     Ability to work collaboratively with partner organizations, complete projects under tight deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude

●     Working knowledge of voter targeting, voter persuasion and identification programs, and Get Out the Vote

●     Experience organizing in partnership with communities of color

●     Proven track record of effective staff management
