Democratic fundraising shop seeks fundraising intern to assist Top-tier U.S. Senate race with Washington D.C. based operations. This is a unique opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of a fundraising operation.

Finance interns will:

• Provide administrative support to the team
• Assist in preparation of fundraising materials
• Research potential donors
• Attend briefings, meetings, fundraisers and other events

Intern qualifications include:

• Strong writing and communication skills
• Strong research skills and attention to details
• Enthusiasm and an interest in campaigns and politics
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), NGP experience a plus

Outcomes:

•  Intern will get an inside look at fundraising and event planning
  
• Intern will gain a deeper understanding of politics
  
• Intern will gain experience using research methods
  
• Interns will expand their personal and professional network
