Christina Finello for Congress Seeking Finance Director

Position Summary:

The Christina Finello for Congress campaign in PA-01 is seeking an immediate hire for a full-time Finance Director for the 2020 cycle. Applicants should be results-oriented, a team player, and have at least one cycle of experience as a Finance Director, Deputy Finance Director, or Call Time Manager. Experience raising money for Pennsylvania Democrats and/or congressional challengers is preferred.


Responsibilities:

• Staff and manage the candidate in call time, conduct donor research, prepare call sheets, track and secure pledges, and ensure databases are up to date.
• Build a comprehensive finance plan including call time, events, meetings, and digital fundraising.
• Build successful local and national fundraising events, organize and create a timeline for upcoming events, and work with hosts to maximize dollars raised.
• Hire, train, and manage finance interns, and manage thank you note program.
• Cultivate strong donor relationships and staff the candidate during meetings with donors and event hosts.
• Work with campaign consultants and help manage other elements of the campaign as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1-2 cycles of campaign fundraising experience.
• Self-starter who is able to manage their own schedule and daily tasks.
• Experience using NGP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced political environment.
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends on a regular basis.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to relocate to Bucks County, PA or greater Philadelphia area.  

Compensation: Salary for this position is commensurate with experience and skills. Supporter housing can be arranged if desired.
