Zero Week Solutions is a political consulting firm that specializes in direct voter contact on behalf of democratic candidates and causes, everything from large statewide initiatives to small down-ballot campaigns. We are looking to fill multiple Canvass Director positions in several locations throughout Arizona to lead voter mobilization programs in support of a statewide ballot measure. We are seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals that are looking to gain immediate managerial and political experience.
Canvass Directors are responsible for the day-to-day execution of the canvass program and will report directly to the State Director. Applicants for the position must possess strong organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Applicants must be able to relocate if necessary, possess reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license. The willingness to work extended hours and weekends is also required.
Responsibilities
- Program Administration: Driving the recruitment, hiring and training of canvass teams. Oversight of human resource processes, including employee vetting, orientation and payroll.
- Management: Providing all staff with the positive leadership culture, resources, guidance and technical support required to succeed during each phase of the program while ensuring compliance with all company policies.
- Accountability: Ensuring that all employees maintain accurate and reliable data for all relevant facets of the program. Communicating all relevant information from the field to your supervisor
- Follow and implement all Zero Week Solutions policies and CDC guidelines on cleaning, PPE usage, and social distancing.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous campaign experience is preferred but not required. Previous experience as a manager a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency with VAN, PDI, or other CRM software. Skilled at keeping organized in a chaotic environment.
- Logistical Requirements: Willingness to work long hours and weekends. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and an ability to relocate, as needed. You should also have a laptop and cell phone.
