National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC) is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to advance the quality and availability of seniors housing and care for America’s elders.
In keeping with our mission, we are seeking to fill the position of Data Research Intern. The Data Research Intern will work with NIC’s Product Development, Data Collection, and Data Analytics teams.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Complete validation of data sets, and perform ongoing quality assurance checks
- Perform testing of new development work on request
- Create data visualizations in a variety of visualization tools to help identify data issues
- Implement assigned duties efficiently while relying on direct training and available documentation
- Communicate clearly about work progress, questions, and timelines
Qualifications/Education:
- Current undergraduate student
- Experience manipulating and analyzing data preferred
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- MS Office proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills or programming experience a plus
Compensation:
- $12 per hour
