NJ Congressional Hiring Communications Director

Competitive New Jersey Congressional Race hiring a Communication Director for a January start date. We are looking for a self-starter who’s able to create and complete projects on their own. A sense of humor, adaptability, and the ability to multitask is essential.

Responsibilities: 

-Draft and pitch press releases 

-Work with Consultants and the Campaign Manager on the overall communication strategy of the campaign

-Create and build a press list 

-Write an execute a social media plan 

-Create graphics

-Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications: 

-A minimum of two cycles of experience in campaign communications

-Experience working with communications and earned media 

-Ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet all assigned deadlines 

-Access to a car, laptop, and cell phone

-Must be willing to relocate to New Jersey
