A Democratic campaign consultant is building a statewide Virginia ballot access petition team. This is a part-time job with custom shift times and locations, designed to supplement an ongoing job search or activism.  


Workers will be responsible for:

1. Circulating petitions and collecting signatures at high traffic areas for up to 25 hours weekly

2. Swearing of petition affidavits attesting to the validly of the signatures collected, as required by the Commonwealth of Virginia

3. Participating in regular conference calls and other reporting tasks with the team, and ultimately ensuring the campaign can collect your sworn petition pages from you


Job Details:

1. Part-time, limited term position running to the end of March (2017); up to $15 per hour based on experience and travel requirements

2. Evening and weekend availability, and access to a vehicle with car insurance may be necessary

3. As a team we will meet assigned goals at several points, and success will create opportunities to advance with one or more campaigns after the petition process
