Job: Finance Assistant and Call Time Manager for Texas Democratic State House Candidate

 

Responsibilities: Team Bado is seeking a Finance Assistant/Call Time Manager to help bolster fundraising efforts and develop attainable goals for our competitive state house race. These responsibilities consist of:

·         Staffing and scheduling call time with the candidate for at least 10-15 hours a week

·         Work with the campaign manager to create realistic deadlines and goals for the campaign

·         Collect and maintain accurate data for the campaign in NGP 8

·         Prepare weekly fundraising reports for the campaign to be presented to the candidate and campaign manager

·         Work with the treasurer and campaign manager to prepare ethics filings

 

Qualifications:

·         1+ cycles of campaign finance experience, previous statewide or congressional experience is a plus

·         Knowledge of NGP 8 and Excel are a must

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Passion for electing Democrats

·         Excellent time management skills

·         Must have basic knowledge of Texas Ethics Commission laws and regulations.

 

Compensation: $1,000 base + 5% commission

 

Location: Remote or McKinney, Texas
