Field Director or Campaign Manager, NYS Senate, New York State

[NYS Campaign]

Multiple Democratic New State Senate Campaigns are seeking a Field Director and Campaign Manager.  Campaign Managers/Field Directors will lead the candidates’ campaign and voter targeting and contact goals that include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to write and implement a comprehensive, data-driven field and campaign plan
• Build and manage a field leadership team to execute said complex field plan
• Set, meet and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement and GOTV
• Design and standardize best practices for data management using the campaign’s voter file software
• Establish a strong professional culture within the organization focused on accountability, specific goals, innovation and sense of purpose
• Coordinate field organizing and fundraising operations
• Manage the campaign's budget and logistics in collaboration with senior staff and consultants

Qualifications:

• Campaign experience
• Experience managing and training high performing staffers

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting frequent deadlines experience with and ability to train on Votebuilder (VAN)

• Strong communication and organizational skills, showing attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; successful at motivating staff to meet recruitment and voter contact goals

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
