The campaign manager will oversee all aspects of the campaign including day-to-day operations, the hiring and management of staff, working with current consulting team (analysis, materials, canvassing, and advertisement management). The campaign manager must have excellent organizational skills, be level-headed, have good interpersonal skills- and can’t be afraid of making asks on behalf of the campaign. Must speak “Texan”, bi-lingual Spanish a benefit. Large district that ranges from the Coastal Bend of Texas, through scenic, historic, rural counties, to near the capital of Austin. https://charliejacksonforcongress.com

Responsibilities:

• Hiring and managing additional staff
• Coordination and implementation of consultant operations
• Maximizing candidate’s time so that they can effectively engage supporters, talk with donors, and build relationships with endorsing organizations
• Manage all other campaign team leads, including field, digital, and communications
• Other tasks as designated by candidate or Senior Advisors

Desired qualifications:

• 1-3 cycles of political campaign experience
• 1 year experience managing people
• Very well organized; excellent written, verbal and presentation 
• Solid communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and outside organizations and be able to multitask without sacrificing quality of work
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to foster a cooperative, team-oriented work environment
• Texas drivers license and access to a car

 

Location: Texas

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
