Would you like the opportunity to craft and execute online organizing
strategies for one of the Sierra Club's most critical national
initiatives, the hard hitting Beyond Coal campaign (www.beyondcoal.org)?
You will play a key role organizing, developing, and coordinating
online email outreach, web-based advocacy, and online-to-offline
integration of our members and supporters who are interested in reducing
our nation's reliance on coal and transitioning to a clean energy
future.
Given that you will be asked to play such an important role in the campaign, This Online Organizer will need a solid foundation (2+ years) in online organizing or campaigning, with a strong background in advocacy or political campaign organizing. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential; a high level of campaign staff collaboration is necessary to do excellent work.
