FINANCE DIRECTOR: 2019 Northern Virginia Countywide

Progressive candidate running for countywide office in Northern Virginia seeks a finance director for the 2019 cycle. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least one cycle of experience as a finance assistant or call time manager (preferred but not required)
  
• Fluency in NGP or the ability to acquire fluency quickly and independently 
• Self-sufficiency
• Resourcefulness
• Creativity
• Hustle and hunger
• The self-possession to manage a candidate and represent the campaign to donors

This role will have a tremendous amount of autonomy, so the finance director must be a self-starter who can work independently. At the same time, the finance director must be able to take constructive feedback from a positive and supportive team that includes a finance consultant.

Candidates must have their own laptop and car. They should be based in Northern Virginia or D.C. or be willing to re-locate ASAP. 

There may be an opportunity for the finance director to become the campaign manager.
