Regional Field Directors – Gretchen Driskell for Congress

Gretchen Driskell for Congress is seeking highly motivated and passionate ​Regional Field Directors​ to elect Gretchen Driskell and flip Michigan’s 7th congressional district. Regional Field Directors will be responsible for implementing the Campaign’s aggressive organizing program and managing a team of Field Organizers in a part of the district. The Regional Field Director will report to the Field Director.

Duration: Through November 15th, 2020

About: 

Driskell is a three term city councilwoman, seven-term mayor, and two-term state representative for the 52nd District in the Michigan House of Representatives. She also built a successful career in Saline as a real estate agent and accountant. As a member of City Council, as Mayor, and as State Representative, Gretchen Driskell has been a strong advocate for job-creation, working families, public education, and the environment.

Michigan’s 7th district was a top tier race last cycle and Driskell came within a narrow margin of beating the incumbent. She is an experienced candidate who ​values strong field programs​. You will join a team of experienced, hardworking political operatives who value growth, grassroots community organizing, and having fun! 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coach a team of organizers to recruit, train, and manage volunteers; hold organizers accountable to metric goals
• Implement region-wide strategies to meet metric goals; ensure data quality of the program
• Develop strong political relationships with local stakeholders and constituency groups
• Build a strong and supportive team culture
• Help flip MI-07!

Skills and Qualifications:

• At least one cycle of field experience on an electoral campaign with demonstrated experience successfully managing volunteers and/or staff
• Strong knowledge of V AN/V otebuilder and other campaign technology
• Demonstrated history of attention to detail and exceptional time management skills
• Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast paced, metrics- driven work environment
• Experience in Michigan preferred but not required 

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Location: Work remotely from anywhere in the United States. If in-person voter contact becomes feasible, expect relocation to Michigan's 7th Congressional District.
