Position Description

Blue Wave Political Partners, a political compliance and fundraising consulting firm, is seeking to hire a Compliance Associate to join our growing company. The scope of work includes assisting in compliance operations for Democratic candidates in Washington State and across the country. Our firm represents campaigns at every level of government – from the City of Seattle to the United States Presidency. This is a great opportunity for those seeking to gain more experience in political campaigns and build a vast professional network in a fast paced environment. This position is located in Seattle, Washington.

Responsibilities

Assist with responsibilities including:

• Manage critical pieces of financial data for several clients

• Processing and data-entry of campaign contributions

• Assist with preparing state and federal compliance reports

• Conduct in-depth compliance research, maintenance, and management of data

• Manage office administrative duties

• Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications

Eligibility: At least one year of experience in political campaigns, office management, program administration or in a closely related field.

Education: Bachelor's degree in political science, communications, finance, accounting, public administration, or related field.

Skills:

• Requires proficient professional experience working with Microsoft Office Suite software to include Word, Excel, and Publisher

• Exceptional calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex meetings

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines

• Ability to maintain and manage highly confidential or sensitive information

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Additional skills in QuickBooks, NGP, and graphic design valuable but not necessary
