Field Director – Midwest mayoral campaign

Competitive mayoral campaign in Cincinnati, OH is looking for a full time Field Director to start ASAP. You will be a part of the campaign’s senior staff, reporting directly to the campaign manager.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and execute of a comprehensive, data­ driven field plan 
• Build and manage a field team to execute field plan
• Set, meet and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement and GOTV 
• Interface and collaborate with local and state political organizations
• Establish a strong professional culture within the field organization focused on accountability, specific goals, innovation and sense of purpose
• Coordinate field organizing with fundraising operations 
• Manage the field program budget and logistics in collaboration with senior staff

 Experience & Qualifications:

• At least 2 cycles of campaign field experience
• Extensive experience with and ability to train on Votebuilder (VAN)
• Experience with virtual organizing and peer-to-peer texting platforms
• Experience managing and training high performing staffers
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting frequent deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; successful at motivating staff to meet recruitment and voter contact goals

Details:

Ideal start date: February 1Salary commensurate with experience; $4000-$4500 a month.
Partially remote, must relocate to the area
