Competitive Ohio Senate District 2 race seeks a Campaign Manager for November 2020 election.

This race represents a real opportunity to flip a seat from red to blue, and the right manager will work with the candidate and strategic team to help lead us to an exciting victory.  This is a significant race for a progressive candidate and the right manager for this race will be part of making history in Ohio.

This is a great opportunity for an RFD or Field Director, or a Finance Assistant or Call Time Manager, looking to take the next step. 

A solid foundation of the fundamentals of a campaign will be key to your success. The ideal candidate has at least two cycles of campaign experience and is a self-starter who is creative, flexible, ready for an opportunity on an important race with a collaborative, team-first environment.  

 Qualifications:

• 1 or more cycles of campaign or state party field experience

• At least 1 year of management experience, and ability to speak expertly about the characteristics of an effective manager

• Experience working with a  canvass

• Excellent writing skills 

• Experience organizing and executing an aggressive field plan

• Proficiency with VoteBuilder

• Strong public speaking skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Respect for, and experience in collaborating with data professionals and working within data-driven field programs

• Passion for working long, irregular hours for Democratic candidates and causes

 

The position is available to start immediately.  Salary commensurate with experience and skills.
