RESPONSIBILITIES:

Field Organizers (FOs) are the face of the Bernie 2016 campaign in New Hampshire. FOs build and grow teams of volunteers who conduct the campaign’s voter contact in line with their regional organizing plan.

They identify and train leadership and support them to hold phone banks, canvasses, house parties and other activities to increase support for Bernie Sanders. They hold volunteers accountable to goals set in the field plan and are responsible for ensuring data integrity. They facilitate and evaluate region-wide events; orchestrate earned media opportunities; grow their digital presence by meeting pre-determined metrics; and build relationship with local political and community leaders in the Granite State. FOs report directly to their Regional Field Director.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, experience meeting deadlines, and the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously;
• Candidates will preferably have one election cycle of field organizing experience
  
• Candidates will own a vehicle or other mode of transportation;
• The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the structure of political campaigns and familiarity with VAN;
• A good sense of humor and a strong interest in and commitment to the ideas of the Bernie 2016 campaign.
