Top Democratic political consulting firm that produces direct mail advertising for campaigns at all levels is seeking sharp, well-organized account staffers to work with our campaigns.

 

Principal Responsibilities

Campaign Associates will be detailed to the firm’s principals and facilitate their work on behalf of campaigns and organization projects. 

 

Specific Duties

- Managing mail piece development and processing client changes with designers.

- Analyzing past election results and assisting partners with determining impact on planning.

- Running counts and pulling data in various voter file interfaces.

- Tracking and gathering news clips.

- Organizing and compiling research.

- Assist in proofing copy in pieces.

- Assist with any other tasks, including the scheduling of conference calls and meetings

- Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

- Drive to help Democratic candidates and progressive organizations win

- An interest in political communications, direct mail, and consulting.

- At least one cycle of political or campaign experience, preferably in communications, field, or research.

- Experience or exposure to NGP-VAN, Catalist, and/or other online voter file interfaces.

- Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office systems and online research tools. 

- Extreme attention to detail.

- Strong writing skills.

- An interest in direct voter contact and campaign strategy/messaging.

- A commitment to electing Democrats to public office.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits package offered and potential for end of cycle bonus. 

 

This is a cycle position through 2020 but may be extended.
