[Forward Majority Action]

Forward Majority was formed in 2017 with the sole goal of flipping control of state legislative chambers from red to blue. We focus exclusively on states that have the biggest impact on gerrymandering and voter suppression, which distort national outcomes and undermine the functioning of our democracy. Our work uses data-driven targeting to surface competitive races that have been consistently overlooked. Best effort will be made to place interns with a staff member that most appropriately matches their area of interest but there may be projects beyond that work. Interns can be hired to work in the NYC HQ, our offices in D.C., Austin or Phoenix or work remotely. Interns will operate in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Forward Majority is also offering a monthly stipend to interns.
