Job Title: Campaign Manager 

Position Location: Tucson, Arizona 

Dr. Matt Heinz for Congress is looking for a Campaign Manager in what is one of Arizona’s most watched elections for 2016! 

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing all campaign operations
• Supervise and coordinate with legal, bookkeeping, and compliance staff and consultants to ensure compliance with all applicable campaign finance laws and regulations
• Day to day operation of the campaign 
• Planning and executing the campaign plan, including press, fundraising, and field operations 
• Drafting and implementing the campaign budget
• Scheduling the candidate and keeping the candidate on-track as it pertains to the goals of the campaign serving as the liaison between the campaign and other organizations

Job Requirements:

• Campaign experience
• Comfort with the implementation of a range of organizing strategies and tactics
• Experience building broad-based coalitions and working with grassroots organizations
• Dedication and ability to work flexible hours
• Managing the campaign staff and volunteers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Superb time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Writing and implementing comprehensive campaign, communication, finance, and field plans 
• Familiarity with political data, latest technologies, and best practices. 
• The ability to build and motivate a team
• Sense of humor
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred but not required
