The Laborers’ International Union of North America - Mid-Atlantic Regional Organizing Coalition (LiUNA! MAROC) seeks an a Regional Director of Politics and Government Relations covering Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia.
Position entails overseeing contract and staff lobbyists, developing and executing long-term political strategies, budgeting for and managing PAC expenditures, advocating for public policies that support working families, and coordinating political programs among the organization's affiliates.
Applicants must have extensive experience in political campaigns and government relations, including a thick rolodex of political contacts. Experience in either the labor movement or construction a plus.
Required: Bachelor's degree required. Post-graduate degree preferred.
