Overview Seward Square Strategies is seeking applicants for our email fundraising vertical. While this position's primary focus would be on email fundraising, there is ample opportunity for working with digital advertising, social media, media campaigns, design, and anything else that interests you and intersects with the digital world. 

If you are someone with an entrepreneurial streak and an interest in digital fundraising, advertising, and staying ahead of the curve in a constantly shifting digital world, this could be the position for you. Make your mark on the world by helping elect Democrats in 2020. 

Position Responsibilities :

• Help build strong client relationships and execute campaigns

• Draft and edit high quality email copy for clients

• Develop analytics reports on email, ad, and social media campaigns

• Monitor client issues and pitch creative concepts 

• Assist developing monthly communications calendars 

• Receive HTML training and assist with content development

• Achieve clients’ fundraising and engagement goals

• Provide top-quality customer service to clients, including regular reporting and invoicing

• Help to assess digital marketing, advocacy and technology needs and identify future needs and opportunities

• Work with client teams, including technology and creative, to assist in managing resources and project timeline

• Day-to-day management of client relationships and satisfaction

• Compensation determined by experience level

Our Company: Seward Square Strategies is a growing firm of seasoned political and advocacy veterans, with fresh opinions and cutting-edge strategies as to how "digital" should fit into an organization's broader growth strategy. We specialize in working with Democratic candidates, nonprofits, and corporate advocacy clients. 

Location: This position is located in Washington D.C. - preference given to applicants who are currently living in the area.

Experience: 1-3 cycles of working in digital marketing. Preference given to people with direct experience working on email fundraising programs.
