Finance staffer in VA-10

[Virginia Congressional]

This position is for a Red to Blue Congressional race in November 2018. The position will begin around Jan 1^st, 201. The position has the opportunity for the ability to move into the Finance Director role if the staffer's performance and knowledge is proven. 

 

Finance duties will include:

·         Staffing candidate during call time and meetings

·         Donor research and mining

·         Aiding campaign team in setting up fundraisers and donor meetings

·         Miscellaneous campaign tasks

 

The ideal applicant will have:

·         A commitment to Democratic politics

·         Campaign finance experience

·         High level writing ability

·         The ability to work long and weekend hours

·         The ability to relocate to Virginia for the remainder of the campaign

·         A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

 

Preferable candidates will have:

·         Experience with NGP, VAN, and Microsoft operating suite

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and quickly change focus

·         High organizational ability

·         Virginia ties
