Deputy Finance Director Job Description
Pramila for Congress is seeking a Deputy Finance Director to help manage Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal’s political fundraising operation in Washington’s 7th Congressional District.
We are seeking candidates who believe in a strong progressive vision for our country, including economic opportunity for all, public education, social security, women’s healthcare, the environment, immigrant rights and criminal justice reform.
The Deputy Finance Director will be responsible for developing and managing an extensive donor research plan, building and executing low-dollar events, and cultivating a robust recurring contribution program.
Additional responsibilities include database maintenance, tracking and chasing pledges, processing checks, maintaining spreadsheets, making fundraising calls, training and supervising interns, and administrative tasks related to fundraising. Other duties as needed.
Desired Qualities & Qualifications
Applicant must be detail-oriented, highly organized, an effective communicator, and have some political campaign experience (preferably fundraising experience).
Ideal candidates will have experience in all aspects of campaign finance operations including call time, events, direct mail, digital strategy, direct phone solicitations, finance committee management, and compliance.
Knowledge of campaign database software, such as NGP, preferred. Salary based on experience.
