Indiana Incumbent Democrat seeks Field Organizer to implement an ambitious field operation for election this Fall.  Under the supervision of the Field Director, the Field Organizer will recruit volunteers, interns and fellows to accomplish field goals. The campaign has invested heavily in data & analytics and this campaign is a unique opportunity to learn best practices and hone skills.


Responsibilities Include:


· Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers

· Building and executing volunteer canvasses and phone banks

· Meeting strict weekly volunteer recruitment goals

· Meeting daily reporting and data entry goals

· Managing interns

· Attending various events on behalf of the campaign

· Other tasks and responsibilities as required by the campaign 


Qualifications Include:


· 0-2 years of competitive campaign experience

· Experience in recruiting and training volunteers a plus

· Familiarity with VAN/VoteBuilder

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel

· Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

· Applicant must be highly organized

· Applicant must have an outgoing personality and a sense of humor

 

Compensation $2500 per month.  Paid benefits, and cellphone reimbursements all available if needed.
