Nothern Virginia Congressional: Deputy Finance Director

Congressional Campaign to elect the first woman scientist ever to serve in Congress is looking for a Deputy Finance Director. Applicants with and without previous finance experience will be considered. Those looking to transition over from field will be strongly considered as well. This position will be located in Manassas VA.

 Responsibilities

·   Work with finance team on upkeep and maintenance of campaign NGP database, including donor information and extensive donor research

·   Process daily contributions

·   Recruit and manage finance volunteers and interns 

·   Assist with and manage candidate call time

·   Assist in the planning and staffing of fundraising events

·   Make fundraising calls to donors for events and for pledge follow up

·   Applicant may be asked to perform other campaign related activities

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of NGP software highly preferred

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously preferred

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Access to reliable transportation required

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
