Central Texas Congressional Campaign Seeks Finance Assistant

About the race:

A first time candidate is running in a central Texas district that represents one of the nations top pick-up opportunities for Democrats. The candidate is a dynamic orator and lifelong organizer with the chance to build a movement. 

About the role:

The finance assistant will work with the finance director to implement the finance plan. Successful applicants for this position will be comfortable staffing candidate calltime, doing donor research, and interacting director with donors and event hosts on the phone and via written communication.

Responsibilities:

1. Donor research;

2. Event staffing;

3. Calltime management;

4. Pledge follow-up and collection; and

5. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Previous campaign finance experience is preferred.

2. Previous experience utilizing database programs, such as VAN/Voterbuilder or NGP is preferred.

3. Strong computer skills and communication skills are required.

This is a full time salaried position with competitive pay, healthcare reimbursement, and cell phone stipend. The position will last through March 2020 Democratic Primary, and through the November 2020 election with a victory in the Primary and runoff.
