A progressive voter contact firm is seeking field organizers for the 2016 election cycle. We need smart and aggressive self-starters looking to work in grassroots organizing offices across Virginia. The position offers entrepreneurial challenges with considerable opportunities for professional growth, unique campaign experience on races of every scale, as well as the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to communities across Virginia.

 

Responsibilities may include:

 

-        -Recruiting and training prospective canvassers


-        -Managing data entry and accountability calls


-        -Liaising with community leaders, clergy and progressive coalitions

-        -Producing daily reports quantifying canvass results


 

Candidates should possess the following:

 

-        -Self-motivation and commitment to progressive causes

-        -Willingness to relocate across Virginia (accommodations will be provided)

-        -Excellent personal, verbal, and written communication skills


-        -Ability to work quickly and cooperatively under pressure and meet deadlines


-    -Energetic outlook and commitment to the mission and grassroots approach to change

-        -Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously


-        -Willingness to work campaign hours

-       
 -A team orientation that combines collegiality and creativity to drive and motivate others

 

Compensation will be commensurate with position and experience.
