I think I have been a regular in this group since way back in the 1990s.  I first became a Jet fan in 1964 when I was 10 years old. Yes, they were the Titans.  The team featured Dick Wood (no pun) as QB, and had a young Matt Snell and Don Maynard.  Namath would come along a year later.  I am going to throw this out there for argument sake.  This team has lacked confidence since the day Namath left the team.  Period.  Look at some of the QBs that the Jets have missed out on recently.  It's obvious that trying to instill confidence by picking up aging use-to-be QBs like Favre and Rodgers isn't the right recipe.  Anyone who has been a lifetime Jet fan like I am has no words to describe how we feel.  Wearing a bag over your head at games isn't even close to describing the absolute gut wrenching feelings that this team puts its fan base through.  This guy gets it.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MebM62kUwk0
