Custom email notification based on Mercurial pushes

Hi,

Our team uses Jenkins to launch jobs based on Mercurial/Kiln poll changes. We would like to relate failed jobs with the person who has pushed the source(s) that triggered that job. Has anyone tried this before ? I understand that the only ENV variables that the Mercurlal plugin makes available are around the Mercurial revision number but I don't seem to see anything to fetch Mercurial user info; or am I wrong ? Also, what email notification plugin should I use to customise the recipient(s) of this notification ?
