Jenkins Components with GPL License

As we understand, Jenkins comes under MIT license, but there are certain components within Jenkins that are mentioned under GPL license.

 

Few of the components are:

 

                Name                                                                    License

 

                JavaMail API (compat)                                   CDDL, GPLv2 +CE

                javax.annotation API                                      CDDL + GPLv2 with classpath exception

                TXW2 Runtime                                              CDDL v1.1 / GPL v2 dual license

                                                                                    

If Jenkins is packaged with all these components, will the package be considered to have MIT license?

All of those have CDDL so you are fine. When components are licensed under multiple licenses, pick the one you prefer, not the one you don't want :)
