How are Jenkins Docker images tested?

Hi,

 I was wondering what kind of test automation is used to test the official Jenkins docker images ( https://hub.docker.com/r/jenkins/jenkins/, https://hub.docker.com/r/jenkins/slave)

I was hoping to reuse the test for the custom images we build to extend the slave. The problem is I couldn't find any tests or even any builds except for the hub autobuild.

It's linked from the github repository.

Last successful build was 3 months ago, but the image on dockerhub was updated today... how come?
