failing to add slave windows 2012 R2 server

Hi,
I am trynig to add windows 2012 R2 server as a slave . I have selected login method as jnlp. When i start jnlp agent on slave,it shows as "connecting to <master_url> " and after some time it shows following error message on one pop-up box with ok button.
java.io.IOExeception:failed to connect to <master_url>:55122
at hudson.remoting.Engine.connect(Engine.jav:364),

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
