Jenkins launching instance with additional resources/drives

Hi. I'd like to convince jenkins that when it launches an instance from a template that that instance also include some extra resources. In this case I would like it to include some extra drives based on images every time. Easy enough to do from command line but I haven't found a way to do it from jenkins openstack plugin. If it can't be done from there is there a way to do it by pre-configuring some defaults in openstack proper? Maybe in flavors or availability zones?
