Master/Slave configurations

In jenkins can we have master/slave configurations in windows and linux vice versa.

Assuming you mean mixed Windows/Linux environments, yes. Our shop has both 1) Windows and 2) Linux (CentOS) masters with both 1) Windows and Linux slaves, and 2) Windows slaves.
